POWERPACK

POWERPACK – A NEW CONCEPT IN PREP COLUMN PACKING.
The PowerPack series of preparative columns have arrived and are aimed for the purification of gram lots - up to hundreds of grams and is ideally suited for the medicinal and process chemists.

• Packing beds up to 350 mm in a 450 long column.
• A unique water jacketed thermostatted thermomantle for temperature stabilisation.
• New Bayonet locking system -
  we call it “QuickStep”
• Allows you to pack and/or unpack your column in 5 minutes.
• All columns machined from one piece SS 1.4404 material
• No welded flanges.
• Piston can easily be pushed through the column to remove packing material.
• Standard columns have ID of 30 and 50 mm.
• Special columns upon request.
• Capillary Protection tube.
• Adapters available for most common commercial columns.

Packing System

• Maximum Pressure approx. 200 Bar
• Dual Axial Compression – we call it DualDac 
• Air operated compressor – input pressure 6 Bar
• Packing force can easily be adjusted.
